You may have recently heard that the service Parse – a cloud mobile solution owned by Facebook – will be ceasing service as of January 2017.
If your mobile application currently utilizes Parse and you have a maintenance agreement with Echo, good news, you do not need to worry. Our existing maintenance agreements include sourcing and integrating new third-party backend solutions if an existing platform becomes obsolete. In addition, your maintenance plan also includes adapting your mobile application to new operating system changes released by Apple and Android.
If you are currently using Parse as a backend solution and do not currently have a maintenance plan, Echo can help you explore alternate solutions before Parse shuts down their service in January 2017.
It will be important to start the switch over early in order to avoid your app losing functionality. In addition, we can review some basic maintenance agreements to see if it makes sense for your application.
